they keep a similar look to the iconic VW "bus" yet, with EV propulsion, has lots of options to modify the inside and make it even more useful. If it comes out at $80k, I'll skip it, but if it is comparably priced with the gas versions of vans (pacific), I'll have to consider it.

VW hasn't had the best PR or track record recently.

I watched a car show where they converted an old VW bus to electric. It seems to be a common thing now due to the bus not being able to keep up with modern highway speeds.
