Otherwise, we have become a country where whomever is currently in power, can simply arrest their opponents. If you want the United States to remain free and non-authoritarian, you have to vote for Trump.
Not even another R being elected would change the precedent set here by Democrats. They are authoritarians. If they are successful in eliminating their clear political opponent, then we no longer have a country. It is no longer ours. That goes for democrat voters, republican voters and independents. It is not our country anymore. Totalitarians will own it and us.
If they can do this to a former President and to their primary political opponent, then imagine what they can do to any one of us. You don't want to live in a country like that.
