Had the pleasure of being invited to a call with coach Seider. Here are some highlights from the call:
-Will see a few plays under center this year
-Will be up tempo when needed
-Coach Yurich has simplified the offense so guys are not overthinking and play up tempo when needed
-Looking at (2) back sets when the defense dictates
-Noah Cain has been medically cleared
-Jon Lovett missed a few days of Spring Practice due to tissue/muscle issues. He is past that and ready to go.
-Devyn Ford had issues keeping weight last year (played as low as 189 pounds last year) and now is up to 205 pounds-should help him breaking tackles.
-Keyvon Lee ready to take the next step-has matured physically and the mentally
-Caziah Holmes is learning to go from Athlete to Running Back in year one to Running Back to Running Back in year two
-Did turn down a head coach opportunity at a smaller coach
-Coach Seider was the #8 overall recruiter in the country according to 247 sports
Coach Seider is so well spoken-I would love to play for him! It is going to be difficult to keep him around. You can tell from the call that he really cares about the kids that he recruits.
