Complete dirt bag. If I had to guess I would say he ends up at either Auburn or FSU. I wonder if ND will be hoping Kelly has a bad year next year, so they can fire him and scoop up Meyer?

I'm no fan of Meyer, but this is way over the top. Meyer did what he said he would at OSU and he was a heck of a coach.

He will be at USC or Texas in 2020.
His MO is school with tradition in a conference/division with weakness.
When he joined Florida the SEC east was weak, FSU was near the bottom and Miami was under sanctions.
Similar to when he joined OSU... the main competitors were down.

He leaves when the others catch up.

FSU doesn't have the money.
Auburn, he won't beat Saban and the west is too stacked.

I really don't think they're "disgraced" as the headline suggests. It could have been worse. It's just another stunning reference to how poorly our BOT managed the JS situation as it relates to PSU football.

Another Hater from the New American Hatriot Movement.

The columnist is a sad example of one.

The chance that Meyer coaches again is essentially 0.
Yeah, I'm not getting why everyone thinks he will coach again. I know many don't believe him, but I think he has legitimately quit 2 jobs for health reasons. I just don't think his body responds well to stress.
I think he enjoys the millions he has made and takes a job with ESPN. I know that I would.

Maybe because he answered the questions about him coaching again three different ways.

Many believe he's not quitting because of health but because of other factors. I know my Univ of Florida friends feel that way about him, and have pretty much loathed Urban since he left UF.

I put more stock in his actions to date than responses to the media.
As a Buckeye fan, I would hate to see him take a year or two off and then go to another team, but it won't necessarily surprise me. He may legitimately believe he wants to step away from it for good, but he is intensely competitive and I'm not sure he could say no to a USC or Notre Dame once he gets a little R&R and is stuck sitting around the house with the missus for a year or so.

I understand that a lot of people are cynical about his motives. Just watching him on the sidelines this year, he is either doing a great acting job, or he really is having serious issues.

I also understand that he is highly competitive and will be tempted to come back again, but I think this latest episode will be too much for him to come back from.

We'll see.

Totally agree who needs the stress. He has the bucks and a tv job would be a piece of cake

I don't really care what he does or why. He's not our coach. He is entitled to "retire" and reinvent himself as many times as the "market" will allow him. Make no mistake, every high profile job that opens will run thru him. After 5 or 6 years, if he doesn't bite, the speculation may die. I don't have to like him. However, anyone who looks at his record at every stop is just being a fool to deny he is one of the great coaches of all time.
