I asked the local taxing authority if real property can be transferred to an illegal alien. This is their reply...

"I am not sure as to the meaning of the author, you would need to contact them. However, ANYONE over the age of 18 can own real property, to my knowledge US residency is not a requirement. You may wish to ask an attorney."
