Admittedly, I really don't know anything about USC! TMc has to have been pretty tired by seasons end as he absorbed a lot of hits and, much like a pitcher, I suspect his arm also needed the rest. SB, relative to punishment, had a Hack like season. This time off will make him a half second quicker, and even if keyed on, I would not be surprised if he breaks more long runs like earlier in the season. However, all of that aside, in theory, the biggest area of improvement will be the OL. It has been patched with freshmen and different combinations of personnel so often, who ever is left have 15 non-urgent practices to settle in.
The rest and practices are more valuable to us than USC!
