I know a few people who obtained these “loans” and they had no business doing so. A few of the people have been busier than ever in spite of covid-19. They certainly didn’t need it and they took advantage of the system. And it isn’t just people on in one party doing it. I know that one of the guys is definitely pro-Trump and the other two are very much anti-Trump.

So very profound. How long did it take for you to come up with that gem of wisdom? And are you always mentally lazy?

I read the story. Nothing wrong in what the company he invested in did.

It gets better than that.... No wonder she can afford a freezer full of ice cream. There is a reason why these life long "public servants" like Biden and Reid end up millionaires......

Biden-founded law firm, as well as a company tied to Pelosi, received PPP funds, docs show

    "
EDI Associates, a firm that is linked to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, received a loan valued at a dollar amount between $350,000 and $1 million, the data showed.

A spokesperson for the speaker told Fox News her husband is an investor and did not apply for the loan, “nor was he aware of it.”

I own shares in a number of mutual funds, which in turn own shares in hundreds of companies and I'm sure that at east some of those companies received PPP money, so by that measure, I "took PPP money."

I'm sorry but this is done by hundreds of thousands of people...if not millions...every single year. Businesses/people take advantage of every possible loophole they can when preparing their taxes. You can make the argument that this is worse but I can say it is completely legal and contradict you.

Here is the problem though. The government basically came out and shut everything down while scaring everyone to believe the world as they knew it is over. It wasn’t their fault that they were caught in the middle. We don’t know if six months from now the idiots will do it again or the tipping point for their businesses hasn’t occurred yet. No one knows or will know for some time.
