Is these young men and women to deal with adversity. By that I mean, as you go through life, there will be situations which don't always work out the way you want them to and "Sandy Barbs" to deal with from time to time. By providing an easy exit, we're not teaching these outstanding young people to learn to stand tall and work through these issues. Take the easy way out this time or the next. But I'll bet you that wherever you land, there will be new and different "Sandy Barbs" to deal with!
