Found this 1995 Sports Illustrated article by Steve Rushin that previews the 2020 college football season. It's all tongue in cheek, and while wrong about KiJanie Carter, he does get a few predictions right--actually more than most SI previews. lol

I found an old magazine from the mid to late 70s looking froward to 2020 (Saturday Review, maybe). The interesting part was the article on how the maps would change. One guy though that Canada would break up and some of the prairie provinces would join the US. One though that all of the divided countries would be reunited--"of course under socialist rule".... Wish I could find it right now (just saw it a couple weeks ago).
