The Ds know they have no chance of having Trump removed from office. Further, they know if they vote for impeachment and it goes to the Senate, the Senate then is in charge and can call anyone they want and run its own investigation. That means calling both Bidens, a pile of FBI, CIA, State Dept hacks, Obama WH staff, and a host of others. They will expose all the corruption within the Obama admin. And that will drag on during the first primaries, keeping key Ds away from campaigning.
So this is just a big show. They are using it to throw dirt on Trump, over shadow the upcoming IG report, and influence the 2020 elections.
Knowing they cannot get Trump out of office and risk exposing their garbage, they will take a vote but amazingly about 20 Ds in Trump districts will vote against impeachment. The Ds will then cry about how Congressmen were forced to vote against just to save their jobs and cry about how bad Trump deplorables are for backing him after all the 'terrible' things he supposedly did.
Expect the anti climatic end to come right before Christmas. Perhaps they rush it through to right before the Thanksgiving Day break. Best times to bury it.
