Remember when certain people here went out of their way to signal their virtue? "I got the shot because I care more about my fellow man than you. You unvaccinated are going to continue to spread it and kill old people because your selfish."

I even had a certain poster here tell me getting the vaccine after recovering from covid was necessary so I could get my vax passport. Another claimed that my natural immunity wouldn't last as long as the vaccine and another said that the 2nd time I get covid it would be far worse without the shot.

If any of these people had a shred of decency, they'd be on this board acknowledging being wrong. Instead they'll just excuse their statements and swallow up the next thing the politicians push to gain more control.

Oh, look, it's climate change, white supremecy and gender confusion.

And there we go, the left's usual methodology in dealing with information they can't refute: attack the messenger.
Did my question have a leftist spin to it? It was a simple question spawned by the curious early morning tag. I really wanted to confirm the accuracy of thus boards technical information. And for the record, I am a fiscal conservative and typically vote that way my friend.

That part wasn't in any way aimed at you, chief. I'm not conservative or republican, I'm just against liberals and progressivism. I'm registered republican now and will vote that way for the foreseeable future. At least until the left stops worshipping corporations and weirdos.

“The battlefield is still warm, following Canada’s war on the unvaccinated. The mandates have let up, and both sides stumble back into something that looks like the old normal — except that there is a fresh and present injury done to the people we tried to break. And no one wants to talk about it.

Only weeks ago, it was the admitted goal of our own leaders to make life unlivable for the unvaccinated. And as a deputized collective, we force-multiplied that pain, taking the fight into our families, friendships, and workplaces. Today, we face the hard truth that none of it was justified — and, in doing that, uncover a precious lesson.

It was a quick slide from righteousness to cruelty, and however much we might blame our leaders for the push, we’re accountable for stepping into the trap despite better judgment.

We knew that waning immunity put vast numbers of the fully vaccinated on par with the shrinking minority of unvaccinated, yet we marked them for special persecution. We said they hadn’t “done the right thing” by turning their bodies over to state care — even though we knew that principled opposition to such a thing is priceless in any circumstance. And we truly let ourselves believe that going into another ineffectual lockdown would be their fault, not the fault of toxic policy.

And so it was by the willful ignorance of science, civics, and politics that we squeezed the unvaccinated to the degree that we did.

We invented a new rubric for the good citizen and — failing to be one ourselves — took pleasure in scapegoating anyone who didn’t measure up. After months of engineered lockdowns, having someone to blame and to burn simply felt good.

So we cannot hold our heads high, as if believing we had logic, love, or truth on our side while we viciously wished death upon the unvaccinated. The best we can do is sit in the awareness of our rabid inhumanity for having cast so many aside.

Most of us who pilloried the noncompliant did it because it seemed like certain victory, like the unvaccinated would never make it through unbroken. Indeed, the promised new normal looked unbeatable, so we sided with it and made punching bags out of the holdouts.

But betting against them has been a scathing embarrassment for many of us who’ve now learned that the mandates only had the power we gave them. It was not through quiet compliance that we avoided endless domination by pharmaceutical companies and medical checkpoints at every doorway. It was thanks to the people we tried to tear down.

So for those of us not among the hopeless few that pray for the return of mandates, we might find some inner gratitude for the unvaccinated. We took the bait by hating them, but their perseverance bought us the time to see we were wrong.

It seems right now like the mandates will return, but this time there’s hope that more of us will see them for what they are: a rising authoritarianism that has no concern for our wellbeing. If there’s an enemy, it’s the confidence game of state power and the transparent attempt to tear us apart. Heeding that looks like our best shot at redemption.

I found this on a Reddit comment on walkway

“If you didn't get the shot in Nigeria the government would shut off access to your bank account. In India the government would take away your phone service and electricity. In Canada Justin Trudeau asked "Do we tolerate these people?" And prevented them from using transportation, leaving the country, or protesting lockdowns. In France Emmanuel Macron vowed to "Make life miserable" for unvaccinated people. In Britain the police would arrest you for walking down the streets without a mask on. In Australia you couldn't go more than a mile from your home, and the police would come to your house to arrest you in front of your children for things you said on social media. In New Zealand Jacinda Ardern told people the government was their "Sole source of truth." And hermetically sealed people into that tiny island for years over single digit cases.

In Italy, Germany and France they wouldn't allow people into grocery stores without a Covid pass for a period of time. In China they locked down entire cities, killed petsz starved and jailed people, and lied about the disease's origin. In the United States the government weaponized OSHA to coerce almost 100,000,000 people to get vaccinated or lose their jobs, and they wouldn't be eligible for any kind of government assistance since it was a "justified" termination.

"Experts" like Leanna Wen told viewers unvaccinated people shouldn't be able to go out in public, and others tried to exclude children from getting an education. The U.S. government permanently closed 30% of all small businesses in the U.S., caused 25% of all people between the ages of 18-25 to have "serious thoughts" about suicide, created irreparable rifts between families and friends, and irreversibly damaged the public's perception of the medical establishment.

Colleges in the U.S. held kids and families paying exorbitant tuition costs hostage, and demanded that kids get vaccinated and even boosted just to be in classes over Zoom. Governments encouraged the mockery, ridicule and ostracism of the new untermensch in society, changed the definitions of words, obscured statistics and stopped reporting damaging data points, and ballooned financial deficits by printing and borrowing on unprecedented scales, contributing to the monetary oversupply and supply chain issues destroying people financially today. The CARES act financially incentivized over exaggeration of Covid cases and deaths, and self-appointed public health "heroes" like Deborah Birx lied to the government in order to justify more severe restrictions. No swimming alone in the ocean, no dinner with family for Thanksgiving, no going to grandma's funeral. Life was stopped.

These people wanted to take everything from you, and they were willing to do anything in order to achieve it. No jab, no job, education, public services, sports events, concerts, social life, travel, medical care, or financial assistance. No gatherings, even with your family, or straying within six feet of another person. No entry anywhere without a worthless cloth muzzle. Mistreatment of the unvaccinated population was not only allowed, but encouraged, and the POTUS and many members of the medical establishment did this themselves. The U.S. government lied about being involved in gain of function research, obfuscated the relevance of the Furin Cleavage Site, refused to help people financially after shutting down society, and either misplaced or allocated to big business over 50% of the PPP "relief." Nothing.

These people tried to destroy your life. If you ever forget this, then you're a fool, and you ensure and deserve your continued abuse in the future.”

They should force an equal number of shots into the good mayor. Shot for shot. You go first mayor.
It's been common knowledge for over a year that the shot doesn't work. Not only that it makes it worse. It's not a hidden secret.
How does the mayor have this power ? This has been going on for over a year.

Are they going to force them to use 3 year old flu vaccines? Basically the same them....the mayor needs to be removed from office....forcefully if need be.
