If you had to guess who do you think has made more of an impact on the life of young people? Social workers? Or football, wrestling, track, or other coaches?
I’m taking parents and teachers out of the equation because I know they can have a good impact on the lives of young people. But if I had to guess I’m going to bet that those coaches have helped a lot more people than social workers.
By a huge margin. And what do coaches to do differently and social workers? They don’t except excuses, expect you to do the work, expect you to pay attention to the details, and they hold you accountable.
