This was more or less an panel of inquiry and not a law enforcement investigation. If this was an actual criminal investigation, which it was not, law enforcement officials could subpoena the phone records if there was just cause to do so. Any legal experts can correct me if I am wrong. So once Meyer erased the texts, there is no way to get them back except through the subpoena process.Anyone know if the "investigative team" even tried to get those deleted texts?
