I’m not a big believer in “If a beats b and b beats c then a should beat c” however, to the extent it gives any perspective whatsoever, last night Cincinnati beat Miami, Fla.. Temple, if you recall, beat Cincinnati. Does that mean Temple beats Miami? Of course not, but it sheds some light on how good Temple is- we did not lose to some low end no talent squad in our opener. I know, some will say that Miami is not that good, they’re poorly coached (especially on defense) but regardless, it’s still interesting and, at least for me, provides some additional insight into the state of college football and Penn State.
