Seven Years Ago Today

We all know nobody is above the law here in Pa with Sheriff Shapiro running the town

Someone like Kathleen Kane who embarrassed Frank Fina and Tom Corbett is certainly not above the law. She is in the cooler right now.

Why are Frank Fina and Tom Corbett above the law. What is Sheriff Shapiro trying to hide?

Great post. Seriously, I can't understand why some people have such a problem with the bolded part.

The culture of virtue signaling. Many Penn Staters think they are proving how much they care about children by showing as much outrage as possible toward Sandusky when posting online. And somehow our culture has equated believing someone accused of rape may be innocent with defending rapists or being a “rape apologist”

You are absolutely correct that there is no evidence that PSU's leadership team (Spanier, Curley, Schultz, and Paterno) conspired or covered-up to protect the acts of a pedophile. The only information to make that suggestion was misrepresented emails and suborned perjury of Cynthia Baldwin and Mike McQueary orchestrated by the likes of Louis Freeh and Frank Fina that is simply not credible.

The Freeh Report is a farce. Frank Fina's misconduct has resulted in a ethics violation that will hopefully soon be adjudicated in Fina losing his license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for a year and a day.

Joe was collateral damage, but it was hoped these assholes could finally pin something on him and Penn State. To that end, they failed, except for the BoTs assholish financial stupidity.

If Joe was merely collateral damage, why hasn't the current BOT made amends?
