Anybody know if a wealthy benefactor can endow the coaches salaries like they do the weight class scholies? If yes, that changes the whole ledger.

There really isn't a reason now that Rutgers shouldn't progress to be a good wrestling program. NJ is a very good wrestling state. They can cherry pick some PA kids. They are a state school for those benefits. Just have to find a coach to make it happen.
Donnie has them on the right track. the prior guy was all show and no grow.

I'm beginning to worry Donnie has contracted Rex Ryan disease from Goodale, though.
Nobody on the Rutgers' staff showed much of any thing related to growing with their 125 pounder.
Rutgers did not lose to Lock Haven this past season - or Minnesota, or Nebraska, or Illinois, or Penn State, or Ohio State, or Iowa or tie North Carolina. And Richie Lewis made good on his promise to be a national champ in March. But Donnie has promised Rutgers will bring home a team trophy from Pittsburgh in March 2019. How can teams like Ohio State, Iowa, Michigan, NC State, Virginia Tech, Missouri, Cornell, much less Nebraska, Arizona State and Penn State hope to compete with them in 2018-19?

But as was suggested by El-Jefe, local high schools near Pittsburgh better increase security of their trophy cases.
