We lost Rucci, we knew it was more than likely he was going to Wisky anyways. The recruiting for 2021 sucks plain and simple. But I want to point something out that Phil has too. The way Rivals and 247 scores the team rankings is misleading. I am a believer in quality over quantity makes a better recruiting class. For example I would take a class of 20 total commits with 15 - 4 stars and 5 - 3 stars over a class with 25 total commits of 10 - 4 stars and 15 - 3 stars.
PSU right now has is ranked 37th by rivals with 7 - 4 stars and 6 - 3 stars. The next team ranked higher than PSU that has more than 7 - 4 stars like PSU is Texas A&M who has 8 - 4 stars and is ranked 17th. To put it into perspective Nebraska is ranked 16th with only 3 - 4 stars and 15 - 3 stars. Louisville is ranked 18th with only 1 - 4 star and 19 - 3 stars. Think about that. L'ville has just 1 - 4 star and and is ranked 20 spots in front of PSU that has 7 - 4 stars.
Realistically I would say the 2021 class should be ranked anywhere from 16th to 20th.
