Seventy-four percent of public transit commuters say safety on transit has gotten worse since the beginning of the pandemic. Forty-six percent say not enough is being done to address turnstile jumping in the transit system.
  • Fifty-seven percent of employees say not enough is being done about shoplifting in New York City.
  • Only 38% of employees are optimistic about the future of the city, while 62% say they are pessimistic or unsure.
  • Employees feel strongly that their company should hold public officials accountable for taking action to fight crime and restore quality of life in the city.
  • In addition to public safety concerns, almost 60% of employees say not enough is being done to address affordable housing and small business recovery.
  • Fifty percent of employees say more needs to be done to address public education

In other words, 46% of responders are racist and support the old system of oppression that unfairly discriminates against minority communities. Isn't that what we were told?
It’s amazing how much has changed in 2 years. Even 40% of NYC folks are considering moving out of the city. The ‘everyone is racist if you don’t agree with me’ narrative from the Dems has sped up our cultural decline.

Liberal policies destroy walkable/energy efficient cities. Dems are the main cause of global warming.

The damage done by democratic governors with unnecessary lockdowns may take an entire generation to overcome.

The damage to this country may be irreparable.

When enough people have had enough and move out of NYC, the housing situation will remedy itself.

They need to change their voting patterns or shut up and put up with the sh*thole they have created.

Hey we finally agree. The damage done to the country during Trump’s Presidency may be irreparable. I don’t expect our democracy to recover.

Be specific. What is this damage?

On the flip side I can think of many things Biden and the Democrats have done that may take decades to repair --
  • Crime
  • Vandalism
  • Murder
  • Racism
  • Destruction of women's sports
  • Closure of schools with kids falling behind academically
  • Attracting millions of unskilled, unvetted illegals
  • Drugs
  • Human trafficking
  • Embarrassment on the world stage
  • Empowering terrorist nations
  • Unprecedented inflation
  • Reduced domestic energy production
  • Soaring debt / trade imbalance
  • Lower labor participation
  • Incompetence leading to war
  • Denying cheap therapeutics that could have reduced suffering and saved lives
Can you come up with anything nearly as big as this list? It would be hard to dream up a mountain this big. Incredibly, IT'S ALL TRUE !!!

If Trump did this impeachment would have been justified.

What a survey, and they are largely Democrats.

I was surprised by the responses given the strong ‘D’ political leanings there. Hopefully, they’ve seen the light and will vote out those who contribute to the current dilapidation of NYC.

One half of the country now doesn’t trust the integrity of our elections. Swing states controlled by the GOP will no longer certify a Democrat if they win their election. They will just claim fraud and declare the GOP the winner instead.

^^^^^^^^
This is what you wrote. You said Trump's presidency may have caused irreparable damage. (You gave absolutely ZERO info on that, which means you also provided nothing comparing what I would call "the lesser of two evils" -- Trump's record, of peaceful economic growth, versus the Biden Record, listed above.)

You said you don't expect our democracy to recover. On that one I might agree, only because Biden followed Trump and created a spectacularly horrific mess. The most obvious symptom comparing the two -- INFLATION -- a tax on the poor and middle class.

So ... you haven't said anything except to claim that there has been a loss in confidence in our elections, which really has more to do with how the last election was executed -- THE FACTS -- than it does with what Trump happened to claim about that election -- AN OPINION.

The facts --
  1. Some states did not follow their own procedures.
  2. There were "irregularities" (which, it is claimed, would not have been enough to change the result)
  3. The media was allowed to obstruct vital information that probably would have flipped opinions and the actual result.
#1 and #2 might not have been enough to change the result. I will concede this. But, add in #3 and I think it is a given -- Biden would not be the president today and we would not have the mess of all those items I listed above.

So ..... what actually caused the most damage here? It certainly wasn't Trump's opinion. It could not have been Trump's record. So I assume, in your opinion, it was Trump's Washington DC followers storming the Capitol. In other words, trespassing and vandalizing the Capitol will be the thing that brings down our democracy.

Why not clear this up for the board? We would like to know what is going to bring down our democracy to the point of being unrecoverable.

Projection again. Dems are laying the groundwork for claiming that Republican wins are invalid, by making ridiculous claims that, for instance, the Georgia Reforms are, in the words of the Senile One, Jim Crow on Steroids.

This is how they lie. I am sick of it. Why can't we as society discuss subjects straight up? No labeling to persuade people into believing something that is not true. Just straight up.

If anything this will lead to the destruction of our country -- people so misinformed that they move in a destructive herd that isn't even consistent with their own beliefs.
