Greetings and Happy Gameday everyone.

In looking to expand my dining experiences, I've pretty much limited myself to The Tavern and The Corner Room as places to eat on Gameday in downtown State College.

What places have you eaten at in downtown State College on Gameday? Thank you in advance.

Tadashi (Japanese, corner of College & Atherton)
Local Whiskey/Central Reservation (Beaver and Allen)
Sowers St Cafe (Mennonite-run breakfast/lunch place by the Starbucks on Garner)

The Tavern is no longer the Tavern. The new owners seem to believe they are in NY city with their prices. But nostalgia is only worth so much...... Our last visit over the summer will be our last.

My last visit to State College was for the Rutgers game last year. Ate at Federal Tap House twice (was staying at the Hyatt next door) and would recommend it. Good beer selection and good bar food. Perfect for a football weekend.
