Privates took a beating tonight. It's time to kick the pubs out of the PIAA and level the playing field.

On a serious note, expanding to six classes has watered everything down. Most games have been blowouts this post season.

Yes, our private school kids are going to have to start paying tuition if they can't win the big one.

Rest of tonights scores:

3A: Middletown 35 Scranton Prep 21

2A: Wilmington, 26 Steel Valley 6

1A: Farrell, 41OLSH 10
1A: Lackawanna Trail 24 Juniata Valley 14

Who is OLSH?
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Won the wpial title. This is their 9th year of football. Great 6A matchup today in Altoona. Curious to see if PineRichland(wpial) can hang with St. Joe's Prep.(philly)

Go District 10 - 2 so far in the finals

Harrisburg 21 Coatesville 10...half
SJP 23 Pine Richland 0....half
Aliquippa 34 Sharon 7....2nd

Don’t know when they expanded to 6 classes. When I was in school at CB West we had 4 classes and the PCL has their own championship.

Harrisburg 27 Coatesville 17...4th
SJP 37 Pine Richland 0....4th
Aliquippa 41 Sharon 7...4th

Only two private schools out of 12 going to Hershey next week. That might quiet the anti-establishment for a day or two.

I will say St Joe Prep is young and loaded. Right or wrong, they will be a tough out for the foreseeable future.
