Penn State should still be safely in the top 10

Neutral game against Utah/ Oregon St and Ole Miss it would all be pick’em games. All pretty even and nothing special. Penn St issue is offense

There is plenty of issues on offense and it starts with OC. Allar, OL, WR and RB haven’t had great seasons. I thought OL and RB would be our strength but it has been the weakest part. Surprised our passing game has been better. Have Penn State had a 100 yard rusher this year? Even with games against Delaware & UMASS?

Our playoff hopes aren’t dead. There’s still a lot of football to be played this season.
YGBSM. No two-loss team is making it into the playoff - either UM or OSU will have only one loss, both will be ranked ahead of us. Georgia will remain undefeated. There will be another team or two undefeated, and most certainly a bunch with only one loss. If you think PSU is going to defeat UM with this offense, you're fooling yourself.

No playoffs for Penn St and no Big Ten Championship game either. Only thing is another New Years 6 if lucky
Man, people have short memories. This happens every year. We have one loss and then think we are out of it only to have another loss that if we didn’t have, we would’ve been in the thick of it with the 1 loss. If we win out, funny things will happen and we’ll be in the conversation. Winning out is the hard part.

We need a crazy amount of help
Ohio State must win out and we need to beat Michigan for starters...do you feel even decent about that? A three way tie make us the third team in the conference as Michigan will beat Ohio State the last weekend of the season.

Here's CBS's breakdown...

10. Penn State (7): Once a team does lose for the first time in a season, especially after the opening weeks, voters begin to ask, "Who have you beat?" For Penn State, the bedrock of its high ranking was an undefeated record and objectively excellent defense, not the resume which had Iowa and West Virginia as its best wins. Because of that, the Nittany Lions will drop behind one-loss teams with better wins -- just not too far as voters aren't quick to punish losses to top-five teams.

These are my thoughts as well. We fall behind Oregon, Texas and Bama but no further. Utah's the only other team that may jump us but their overall resume is garbage and does anyone respect beating USC still?
