Penn had a rough 18/19 season. Only two wrestlers qualified for the NCAA tournament where they scored 3.5 team points (45th place). The Quakers went 5-9 in duals with their biggest win coming against Big 10 superpower, Maryland. Penn finished 10th out of 16 at the EIWA championships.

Last season, Penn was an extremely young team with six true freshman starters. They are losing two senior starters from last season but they return both of their qualifiers. The team should be improved with a solid incoming freshman class highlighted by Michael Colaiocco.
