Three tears ago the Maryland captains pulled the same bullshit in Beaver Stadium. I don't recall any of our players acting as Mayfield did. So someone refused a handshake and made themselves look like an ass?? No need to join them on the low road.
The conference fined Maryland for that. They said it was because of the rivalry with Penn State that they did not shake hands.
Not sure why Kansas did not shake hands?

If you recall one of our players, and I think it was Allen got a PF penalty on the very first play for a very late hit out of bounds. So yea our players did react.

If Baker Mayfield hadn't done anything stupid prior I don't think it would be a big deal. His reputation is problematic at this point. He needs to learn to control his emotions.
