historically, there are some interesting passages here, considering the subject and date of the article:

an in depth look at how Louis Freeh (and the Clinton administration) handled the investigation of the bombing of the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia on June 25, 1996.

more fascinating is the date of the article: 5/14/2001. about 4 months before 9/11

try reading it with the benefit of hindsight, and NOT bash your head with a hammer.

(on a side note, an uber Conservative neighbor of mine was engaged in a discussion with me about terrorism and how to combat it. I quipped, ironically, that we were attacked on 9/11 by 2 countries, but decided to bomb the crap out of 2 different countries. it would have been as if Japan bombed Pearl Harbor at Germany's behest, so the US invaded Vietnam and bombed Poland)
