Not sure if anyone is following but here is the upshot of the issues:
- dude started a blog in college without using his name, blog became very successful because he was one of the first to predict many things. He "follows the science" which allowed him to be out front on the pandemic
- he's a democrat, Liz Warren fan. He is also a practicing psychiatrist
- The NYT wanted to do a story on him and told him they were going to use his real name. He asked them not to. When they refused, he deleted his blog
- The NYT was pissed so they doxxed him and his mobile phone number as well
- so he fired up the blog to fight the NYT and expose how corrupt they are
