After sleep walking for 3 qtrs..... we should give the team participation awards for coming out of their coma in the 4th qtr. This cast of characters would have done better in the first 3 quarters of the game than what we fielded:

Windsors loss was huge. His selfish act of breaking team rules put more reps on every one else and taxed an already thin d line. Hope he learns from this. Completely unacceptable.

Good question. This is now the 2nd time I believe we have had absentees really hamper the team in bowl games. Missing Bowen in the Rose Bowl hurt, especially once Bell went out and we had to put in #6 as a FR, who they ran over in the 4th quarter multiple times. Not to mention Blacknall being absent and Thompkins having to start. May have cost us the intial INT.
Not knowing what any of these players did, I am still glad to see Franklin sticking to his guns and not placing winning over whatever team rules were broken.

What shouldn’t be lost in all of this is that this is his 4th year at PSU.
There has been a leadership deficit on this team.
