Cream of peanut soup - a great appetizer or midday bridge to dinner, and even better with cold turkey sandwich leftovers.
Boil 1 diced yellow onion and 2 chopped carrots in 1 qt chicken stock. When veggies are soft, purée.
Stir in 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup peanut butter, and 1/4 cup chopped peanuts.
Serve warm with Tabasco.
