Junior Colson was one the LB recruits their staff and fans preferred over in state LB Buddin. Also Michigan is apparently about to pick up 2 or 3 more verbal commits this week. Some speculation one the verbals may be Drew Kendall.
Michigan is on a roll. Hope our staff can keep up over the next couple months. Starts with landing Pugh today! He seems like he would be the best Ohio prospect in a long while. Still no Ohio State offer though. It’s been forever since PSU has landed a recruit from Ohio that Ohio State really wanted.
Who else is close to deciding? Any high end kids? Still looking for recruiting production out of Coach Trautwein, Scott, and Stubblefield. Sucks that them being new and having to deal with the pandemic has caused a slow start. With Thornton leaving PSU out of the top 6 and Rucci likely going else where suddenly not feeling warm and fuzzy about this class.
Truatwein seems to have PSU in the discussion and in the top 5 list of a lot of fine OL prospects, but I don’t feel PSU actually leads for any of them. Rucci, Spindler, Leigh, etc etc Diego Pounds seems promising but not on the same level as the others.
Hopefully Scott can land Drew Wilson, Aaron Donald, and the rising DT Ingram-Dawkins. Who else is Scott in on? Getting Ingram-Dawkins would be a huge coup for him. I feel for Scott because if he doesn’t produce, fans are always gong to compare hime to not only Spencer and Larry Johnson, but also what could have been with Elijah Robinson.
With a smaller class this year it’s going to be difficult to beat Michigan in recruiting.
