The QBs and OL for the white team have been brutal all night. Only pass thrown to him was the jump ball which was a clear no call PI.

DL for team highlight spent more time in the backfield than Slade did
Ridiculous play calling by the White team. You had Slade out of the backfield all night which would have helped with the pash rush. So what does Mooch do? Plays chuck it up with really inaccurate QBs or Gatewood, who can’t throw either, just takes off Willy nilly about 80 times
saw one specific play with Gatewood where his OL released for a CLEAR screen and were untouched and Gatewood rolled away from it and tried to scramble. I knew then that as long as he was in the game, the white team wouldn't do much.
Every year this game makes it abundantly clear why Mooch is no longer coaching.
There was one pass over the middle in the 3rd quarter that was very poorly thrown. Shorter was the only receiver in the screen when it was almost picked off so I assume it was thrown his way.
This game was no sort of gauge of Shorter's ability. QBs bad, and DBs allowed to get away with practically anything. The thing to note is how well he fought off press coverage in the drills - this guy is strong and knows how to use his hands, in addition to his speed and route running. We haven't had anyone with quite this collection of traits, mainly because there haven't been many like him period. Juwan Johnson can be an NFL All Pro, but Shorter can be Julio Jones. I'm SO EXCITED!!!!
All it will take is for one of these superstars to have a catastrophic knee injury or two, and these games wont be so appealing to the players. They will go the way of the Big 33 game.
