A tradition that has been observed since 1837...

The inauguration of Martin Van Buren as the eighth President of the United States took place on Saturday, March 4, 1837, at the East Portico of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. This was the 13th inauguration and marked the commencement of the only four-year term of both Martin Van Buren as President and Richard Mentor Johnson as Vice President. Vice President and President-elect Van Buren rode with his predecessor Andrew Jackson in a small phaeton built from the wood of USS Constitution

I envision the next transfer of power will mark a return to 'normal'...

Trump makes an alley-cat like return to the ring, wins by a landslide in 2024 as part of a Crimson Tide made possible due to unpopular progressive/socialist legislation passed by democrats. That's pretty much a given.

Trump, given his ego, has another horse-drawn carriage made of spare parts from the USS Constitution (currently undergoing restoration). He forces Kamila (or a feeble-minded Biden) to ride in it on his way to the Capitol Building. Now that would be poetic justice for an election that's going to be proven fraudulent in the upcoming months, and metaphorically speaking The Constitution will have been preserved.

I thank you.
