Happy Holidays for Pitt

The holidays will be a happy time for the pitters this year. The last 3 years they were embarrassed in their bowl games. Last year they lost to the 10th best team in the Big Ten. They year before they got pounded by a fricken service academy. The year before that they had an epic meltdown in the second half and lost to a horrible Houston team.

They won't have to worry about a holiday butt kicking this year. They will be home watching bowl games on TV. Narduzzi and his 3-Star Dandies are going to finish with a losing record. They are 1 - 3 now and will lose to NC State, Duke, NC, Miami, and Virginia Tech. They will beat Rice and their games with Syracuse and Virginia are toss-ups. They will likely end up 3 - 9. that should do wonders for their recruiting which is already abysmal.

Their handful of fans will get to sleep in on their sofas during the holidays instead of in a football stadium.

That is only 2nd most embarrassing pitt bowl loss in recent history. They lost in the sun bowl 3-0 with lesean mccoy as their running back. But the hilarious bowl losses are piling up for them. Sadly, there won't be won this year. That might count for a national championship though, not losing in a hilarious bowl game.

Great question....this is a perfect example of proving a bias. Franklin got slammed for saying something not even close to this low....we'll see how the talking heads and the sports media deal with it.
