Football Franklin on potentially renewing the Pittsburgh series

Parking might be tough on the North Shore if you’re a drive-up (there’s parking garages at the Casino and next to the stadium), so you might look into parking downtown and then taking the T over to the game free of charge.
Thank you. I got it figured out. We snagged a spot on Stanwick and we're walking over the bridge from Point Park. I went through the Pitt website. Way too many apps to select parking. Guess all those lots and garages aren't run by the city.

Good call. Unfortunately, many of those garages are private. Enjoy the game.

Since I’m over here, I might as well… the problem with the broadcasts is that the cameras only show the visitors side, which always has significantly less fans. Here is from the home side:

It was the same situation when @bono47 was showing the Duke pictures from last season. It never looks like 45,000 because you only see the visitors’ sideline. Oh well, that’s what we get for renting a stadium.
Bro, Heinz seats 68,400, including suites. You show a pic of home side which is a quarter of stadium and it is less than full. You can continue to delude yourself into thinking Pitt had 45,000 people there while anyone with eyeballs can see the truth. Yinz had no more than 30,000 people there.

That picture is actually 1/2 of the stadium since it’s a horseshoe (little seating in the south endzone). Half of 68,400 is 34,200; the upper deck in the north endzone is sparsely filled, so we’ll say there’s about 32,000 in that picture. The other side of the stadium was well below 50% filled, but that’s still 10-13,000 because the student section in the lower bowl spills over to the other side. That gets you right near that 45,000 number.

I’ve been there and seen it, but we’re obviously going to come to our own conclusions. It’s all friendly over here with Thomas and Spin Meister. We can agree to disagree, “bro”… although I’ll give you props for throwing a yinz in there. :)

Why does anyone care about how many people are at the Pitt Wofford game. Pitt should play Temple every year if the need someone to the East of Pittsburgh.

I was at that game at Heinz Field. We didn't have to buy Pitt season tickets, but we did have to buy tickets for Temple/Pitt to buy tickets for PSU/Pitt. I sent my Temple/Pitt tickets to the Temple Athletic Department in case someone wanted to make the trip from Philadelphia with free tickets to root against Pitt.

For this I should bite my tongue, and hope to escape the burning fires of hell. But playing Pitt today would have been more interesting than the slaughter we just watched. But not by much.

I'm at the Pitt Cincy game. I'd say lower bowl is 2/3 full, outside of the student section, which is full. Upper decks I'd say 1/3 or so full.
Hope you enjoy the evening. They’ve shown a lot of aerial shots on the broadcast. Looks like 45,000, maybe a little more. PSU fans need to remember that adds up to about 23,000 empty seats, which looks about right.

It's a great night for a game. Hot until the sun went down.

Hope you guys weren't expecting Phil to be the next great QB, cause for a vet, he isn't that good.

I forget who I responded to on here a few months back, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Christian Veilleux takes over by the end of the season. He looked impressive in our game last week.
