Our Service Academies graduate some of our best and brightest- the loss of any of them is tragic. Yes. they know the risks- for that we owe a debt of gratitude.

I agree with you sentiments. In fact, I agree with everybody's sentiments expressed so far.

I suspect this showed up as a link in bwifan's favorite news sources today, and he did not notice the date. Smells of somebody trying to manipulate his emotions and/or distract him from current events. It is a shame that people do that, but they do.

Still, does not hurt to recognize the sacrifice again........
