FC: Virginia’s Mendenhall calls for ACC to change virus protocols.

Per the espn news “crawl”.

fsu had to cancel home games two weeks in a row after the visiting team had already arrived in Tallahassee. UVA faced the last-minute cancellation this past weekend. Cavaliers’ coach Bronco Mendenhall is now calling for the ACC to change its virus protocols to prevent this. He also said he has no interest in going back to fsu for a possible make-up game.

so both Clemson and UVA now really mad. who at FSU is making these decisions last minute that appear to be so contorversial. Only place this has happened at so they must be looking at things differently.

it wouldn’t be the most outlandish take to suggest that FSU was not that interested in playing Clemson or UVA. Certainly Clemson is scary, and UVA is just a well coached good team.

FSU also canceled their next game vs Duke. I don't think they ever had any intention of playing another game this season, using COVID as a cop out. They had a bunch of "opt-outs" after they got embarrassed by Pitt, some going pro and some transferring. They were only going to get further humiliated in their remaining games. They basically just took their ball and went home. There should be some repercussions/sanctions for them, but there won't be...
