My wife is younger and grew up in the hair metal days so we decided to go see a show in Jim Thorpe , Ted Poley from Danger Danger ( he was listed as Ted Poley), Lynch Mob, then Dokken.
Poley sounded fine and played his two hits , Bang Bang and Naughty Naughty. After his set my wife ran into him and complimented his set and said everyone she hears Naughty Naughty she wants to —ck her husband. He said me too. She almost spit Cab everywhere.
Lynch Mob sounded five but I’m not familiar with them.
I was really looking forward to Dokken but man were awful. He can’t sing. At all , we left just into the third song . My wife said he sounded like bad karaoke .
He voice was flat and just not there. My advice is , if you like bands from that era try to find some recent live clips to make sure it’s worth your time.
This happened to me with Marshall Tucker Band. The Caldwells are dead and the only surviving member seems to be Doug Gray. Worst show I’ve seen , he mainly talked couldn’t sing, and just was awful.
Dokken tried at least , but he doesn’t have it anymore .
