I’m not talking about the over the top reactions of firing him. But honestly after yesterday I lost the faith I had in him. I have posted many times I believed we have a HC who can get us to a playoff but I had less faith in our OC/DC. Pry has since shown he is good enough as long as we have a better OC than he is as a DC, which I think we had on JM. But yesterday has me rethinking my belief in JF, his faults(clock management, end of game decision-making) are adding up. There aren’t 10 HCs I would take over him, but look at college football during the playoffs. It’s usually 3 of the same teams making it each year and the 4th is a program that is just below that elite tier which breaks through. So it’s not like there are a ton of HCs who can get it done. I thought w/JF we had one and with the right breaks one of these years we would break through. Unfortunately that faith I had is gone.
