They got 9.75 inches of rain in Mount Joy in three hours about a week ago. 283 was closed between Mt. Joy and Elizabethtown and Route 30 was closed from East York to Wrightsville.

The ground is saturated. I hope this hurricane does not turn right after coming ashore in N. Carolina. If it does we could have real problems.

Yep! We attempted to drive through Glen Rock the Friday before Labor Day and it was flooded. The DelMarVaPa doesn't need any more rain, but we're going to get it over the next 10 days...
 
here in MD we are +15 inches for the year... still raining and we are targeted to get 5+ from Flo... as bad as it has been here, Wilmington, NC will unrecognizable in a few days.
Yeah, worried about that (have family members and friends that live in that area)
Weather Channel just forecast 24+ inches of rain and 12-foot storm surge for Wilmington. Yikes.

Wilmington has already had 57 inches this year.

We are in the mount joy area and the rain was ridiculous.Pray for these folks in the eye of this storm.Hope it stays away from here we are wet enough.
