Back in the day I worked at a car dealership. This 17 yo girl came to get her circa 1986, rosewood colored Pontiac Grand AM. She was in love!! Its Friday night, she signed the papers went to leave on a 45 minute drive home. The brand new car with maybe 12 miles on it won't go into reverse!! She can't back out of the spot she is in!! 12 miles on it!! She starts to cry and is upset (duh!) Unless she drives that thing out of there , there isn't any sale. Finally the salesman talks to her for a while. He gathers a couple of us together, and we push her out of her spot, and she drives home!! Without reverse! What did the salesman say? Well he found out she wasn't upset about having a car with 12 miles on it that won't go into reverse, she was upset because she couldn't go cruising that night in her little town in her brand new car!! She told all her friends should would be there in her new ride!! Salesman said, just don't get yourself where you need reverse, and come back on Monday, we will fix, it was under warranty!! Had a happy customer after that!!
