I remember going to the PSU v Auburn Citrus bowl game in 2003 and thinking how run down and old the stadium was. Can anyone in the know share if they've done anything to modernize the stadium in the last 15 years?

IIRC, the stadium was recently rebuilt after Orlando wasn't selected as a NY6 site due to the poor condition of the facility.

UPDATE: This Citrus Bowl scenario is currently Penn State's default position, which is likely why your financial supporter friend gave you this info. The Peach Bowl will absolutely select us if (& only if) tOSU and OK both win and then tOSU leapfrogs OK into the playoff, which seems unlikely.

UK beat Florida in Gainesville and beat(dominated) a solid MSU team. UK may not have a sexy name but their resume is as good as Florida's.

I know, but their loss to Tennessee is like a wet blanket.
