I wait a lifetime for this site to load on FF. Best guess is there is so much crap on rivals that FF has to wade thru... and it takes a mountain of time.

Maybe others have less trouble and it's only me... but I leave this site and bring up virtually anything else and it pops right up. This site? Like watching paint dry half the time (btw, not always).

Haven't tried it in chrome lately... maybe i should.

The message 'your connection is not private' just means your using http instead of https.

The S means secure.

Google recently pushed out updates to chrome where nearly any connection that does not use https instead of http gets flagged as insecure (which is technically true).

All you need to do is update your bookmarks for rivals to include the https prefix and you should be good to go.

btw, i'm over on chrome now and it flies right up. perhaps it's time to ditch FF.. no matter what the "internet" tells me about who is faster.

I have a different problem that is stumping me. It only occurs on my home PC and only with Chrome. The text of all these message/threads is a shade of gray rather than black (reading mode). I cannot figure out what setting was changed or how to get back to a black font color.

I use this site exclusively on my iPhone...can’t remember the last time I saw BWI on any other device. In fact, with the exception of work, I can’t think of much “computing” I don’t do on my phone.

Are you getting here from a bookmark? Try coming in without one and rebookmarking it. Their auto redirect from http to https might not be working from your redirect.

I use Chrome on my home pc and have exactly the same problem as you...and as I type this, it is not black but faded gray. However, your post is black.
Although maybe it's my eyes, because RO's post is 'wiggling'.

Yes, I've gotten it in chrome. Then switched to edge when Chrome wouldn't let me in. then Edge wouldn't let me in for the same reason...then my phone browser wouldn't let me in. All seem to work if you go to the main rivals site and then get there, instead of coming to BWI directly

ATTENTION BWI TECHIES !!!! (I assume there's a BWI tech staff)

You guys really should look into this!

Thank you, this fixed it for me.

I am pretty sure that the CIA is quite focused on the Lair as a significant threat to national security. Their theory is that they can't be talking football, as nothing makes sense on face value over there. It must some kind of variant on Navajo code, perhaps.

Perhaps they were focusing on individuals who frequent the Test Board.

Thanks that is some really good info. Never knew that.

I changed the font color on my prior specific post. that is why it was black. My work laptop via Firefox is black text.

I just tried Edge and the text is black. this has only been going on for about three weeks but it is annoying as heck. I cannot find a config setting for font color.

Edit: tried google and found this
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/YiqK1z_PpMs

I only had to delete from the Shell directory; not the registry

What I had been doing is typing blue white illustrated in Google and I click on the link after hitting enter and get in no problem.
