I was going to take a trip to my uncle’s farm to check out some hunting spots. My cousin had mentioned last time he went there he saw a tree on this path and asked if I could bring my saw and cut it up.
I have a small battery powered chainsaw that works well. It’s a EGO and has a 14” length saw blade/chain. It’s really not meant for heavy usage, just small stuff. Last year it worked great for the small trees I had to move.
By small I mean 8-10” diameter at the largest part of the tree. This one was over 12” at the largest spot. Yeah that did work well on maybe a forty foot tree. It seems he noticed it from over a hundred yards away but didn’t check up close.
Thanks cuz, Lolol. I went out and got an 18” saw of the same brand that should work better, even if it takes me 2,3 trips to clear it. The one part I cut off had to be over 600 lbs. it was right around 8’ long.
