Can someone offer an argument in favor of trans women competing in women's sports?

To be clear, the point is not to debate whether the argument is a good one. People can do that in a separate thread. The point of this thread is to determine whether there IS an argument for it.

It seems like all I hear is "You're denying their rights if you prevent it," but that is circular reasoning. Of course if someone has the right to something and you deny them it then you're denying them their rights. But I want to hear an argument for why they have the right in the first place. Maybe there are some such arguments out there but it struck me that I couldn't think of one so I thought I'd ask the AKB.

ETA: The question doesn't have to be answered by someone in favor of trans men competing in women's sports. Even if you're against it but you're aware of the argument for it (which you disagree with) you can still state the argument.
