Yep, I was thrilled that he even came out and more surprised and happy with how he wrestled. Great job by ALL of the PSU wrestlers. Davis and Nagao are surely REALLY disappointed in falling short of their goals, but they each had their moments too and obviously contributed to the title. Kasak was/is really quite remarkable on his consy run as well, quite remarkable. It's really hard to be too disappointed with anything that's happened in this tournament to this point.

Kasak reminds me of Nick Lee in Cleveland. Getting decked first round. He then picked up his axe and water pails coming back for 5th. Long way back to a medal when you drop the first. Shows guts.

If you missed Bernie's matches last night, then you can replay them on ESPN+. Both of Bernie's matches were on Mat 2. His first consi match against #10 Dylan Fishback (NCST) begins at the 1:25:00 mark. His second match against #7 Thomas Stewart Jr. (VT) begins at the 2:35:00 mark.
