Second play of game - Hack drills the ref in the head. Would have been a completion otherwise...

False start on third down puts team in third and long - Hack misses bad (seems like some confusion or miscommunication with Hamilton) and we punt.

Defense giving up big plays and Haley drops an easy INT. NW misses the FG.

Hack misses Barkley in the flat and Gesicki drops one that hits him in the hands. 8 yards on offense after two series. No running room at all for Barkley.

Easy INT sails through Allen's hand. Ball batted down at LOS on Hack's first pass of the third series; direct snap to Barkley fails; ball batted down at LOS forces another punt. Offense is awful.

D gives up an acrobatic catch on 3rd and 10. Great 3rd down coverage by Reid on next set of downs. Special Teams has done zero.

Hack's first pass of fourth series dropped. We throw three yards short of the first down on third down - time to punt.

D gives up 30 yard run on 3rd and 2. NW scores two plays later.

Godwin makes excellent catch on next series - Barkley moves the chains. False start on first down. Barkley tackled for loss puts O in long yardage situations and are forced to punt (after two less than successful screen calls).

D gives up another huge run on first down. Haley PI on next play puts NW in scoring range. Another huge run puts NW on the two. TD two plays later.

O picks up second first down of half. Gesicki drops an easy pass for a first down.

Hack to Barkley on third. Keeps drive alive - Godwin makes excellent catch and Barkley scores on direct snap next play.

And here it is - NW TD on kickoff return - 95 yards. This was a killer.

Hack holds on to the ball too long and takes another sack - NW gets the ball back again before the half. Reid penalty on next play. NW takes a knee and 13 point lead into the half.

NW's back up in after Thorson exits game. Poor tackling by secondary gives up 3rd down conversion.

Nassib sack ends NW drive - penalty on KR. Barkley gets first big gain of the day. Hack to Godwin puts PSU inside the 15. Barkley scores next play out of the wildcat! PSU takes the lead! 21-20!

Another dropped INT from #28 but D ends up holding. 11:22 left in the game up by one...

Barkley takes two negative runs in a row then blasts the D for a huge gain and first down!

First down Barkley! He's wearing the D down. Hack takes a big sack next play and OL is starting to collapse. Throws a pick next play - first pick in 206 pass attempts.

NW FG with 9 seconds left seals the deal. Time for another pour Maker's 46...this game was lost on bad ST and the inability of our DB's to catch the freaking ball.

Yeah. That was tough to re-watch. We do a few small things better and we win easy. Frustrating but I don't think we lose those kinds of games going forward.
