I know in years past we sometimes saw the full schedule released sometime in mid-late August.

It always seems like some of our non conference opponents schedules are out weeks before ours, so we have that to look at.

Here's something I posted in 2017. It still seems relevant.

"This question gets asked every year on this board. There are a lot of variables that go into a schedule, including B1G requirements, BJC availability, BTN slots, tournament schedules, mutual availability of non-B1G teams, etc., etc.

The quick answer to the question is that there is not a defined date upon which the schedule is released. Once all the issues involved in setting a schedule are resolved, PSU released the upcoming schedule. On that date, the schedule always gets posted on this board.

For those that need a "better" answer, below is a review of when the schedule has been released in recent years.

2017 - Sep. 18
2016 - Aug. 18
2015 - Sep. 3
2014 - Sep 17
2013 - Aug 29
2012 - Aug 27
2011 - June 1
2010 - June 22
2009 - Aug 12
2008 - Sep 8
2007 - June 13
2006 - July 21
2005 - Aug 16
2004 - June 18
2003 - July 9"

And to update it:

2021 - ?????
2020 - Dec 31
2019 - Sep 10
2018 - Sep. 18

So, you are saying that since Cael has become head coach/ruler of NCAA wrestling, he and the psu athletic department have become lazy when it comes to getting b the schedule to us? First year here we got it in June and then last year he waited until December! 😂

These dates tell me the B10 conference schedule is likely already set. (Booking 2 non-conference opponents boosts my suspicion.)

Really wish B10 would publish the conference schedule for all teams, like they did for football this year.

Even with the "tentative" small print allowing for some shifting for BJC or other "event" matches.

1) In years past, one could deduce who the BigTen opponents will be, since it appears the Big Ten schedule has a 3-year rolling cycles for opponent groupings..... BUT - will they reset that cycle due to Covid? and all of the conference match cancellations last year?

2) Love the annual "Where is the Schedule"? thread !!
Hoping we can roll right into the "Who are our 15 scoring Scuffle wrestlers ???!!" in due time.

Any chance of a similar compilation of ticket renewal notice dates?

Could you change the axis? Put release dates on the y-axis and schedule year on the x-axis.
Sorry--not terribly easy in gSheets w/ the way I set it up. Maybe if I feel motivated to spend some more time on it later--or you can hit me up at my username at that google email service, and I can make you a collaborator on the sheet.

Cael takes his time putting together the training regimen his team needs to be at their peak for B1G’s and NCAA’s. It’s all in the binder and he waits for others before he announces the championship trading schedule. He’s got a championship caliber team so it has to be precise to insure peak performance.

This dual is listed as being held at Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, PA on Sacred Heart website. The Journeyman Collegiate Classic starts the next day at Spooky Nook.
There will be several college teams there on the 13th...and it's crazy that the B1G schedule isn't out yet. Taking into account the BJC planning for PSU, this year is heading towards being the latest release date ever.

Yes that will be the Journeyman duals that are normally in Troy NY

Basketball (Men's and Women's) conference schedules announced today. Hopefully wrestling is next week at the latest.

My sources say to look for something around 3:27 pm tomorrow.

Sacred Heart and Spooky Nook have no information on tickets for the match. On Sacred Hearts website it is listed as vs. PSU, so Sacred Heart should be the Home team. That being said due to it not being on their campus they may have listed it as vs. Or it could be a PSU home match. Either way I am wondering how the tickets will work? If it is a Home match I guess season ticket holders will get first shot.
