Was at the game last night and then brought my daughter home for spring break. Expecting a very physical game based on last night.

Unlikely to sweep the Gophers on the road. The #2 seed would be great for the bye. Given recent struggles v OSU, #3 seed and Wisconsin would be big. BIG is looking like a one bid league this year. Penn St has a shot in BIG tourney.

What a final 15.1 seconds!
As others who went to last night's game had said, Michigan was chippy. The refs did nip some of their shenanigans in the bud with some calls early in the game. They still got away with several obvious penalties. P.J Musico played very well today. In the 3rd period Michigan buzzed all around him and he only gave up one goal. They did clang one off the post and also shot wide on several great point blank chances. He also made a couple of great pad saves. Then there was the play that started with 15.1 seconds to go in the game. The play was frenetic at that point and the arena was deafening. Michigan was attacking with everything they had and at one point the puck was just sitting in the crease behind Musico and looked as big as a watermelon. It was right in front of us and the official definitely got it right. Musico finally was able to turn around and smother the puck with his glove just before #9 barreled into him and knocked him and the puck into the net with 4 seconds left. The arena was going crazy at the end of the game. Just great.

Of course, number 7, Compher, from Michigan scored all 3 UM goals for the hat trick. Might have deserved a star.

Agree. They are a different team when attacking on that 200 x 100 surface. Their power play also just sizzles at home. PSU can score on Minny though and they are not overly physical. These games should be good. PSU has to stay out of the penalty box to have a good chance.
