Kudos to Coach Pry for a great game!! And who else?

Team D: NO comparison to last year. Very surprised at how well the DL played. How well the LBers covered. And how few open receivers Mertz had to throw to.

The secondary was all it was built up to be. LBers were a much needed surprise.

Improvements needed: Tackling was good, for Game 1. Not great yet. That RB for UW was tough to bring down one on one. He will rush for 1000 yards this year if he stays healthy.

WRs seem to have made continue strides! RBs had few holes . OL laid an egg early. Adjusted better in 2nd half.

STs AJLytten made two terrific plays only to be called for interference.....by a few inches! Look for him to make a name for himself on KO coverage. Punting/Kicking Hope we settle down. Two flubs kept the ST rating from being OUTSTANDING.

So what's up with the new coaches, and old ones? Which of the position coaches deserve credit for our Game 1 successes? ? Has anyone heard anything about any of them? (We seem much better coached overall. Although I see 2020 as a crazy abberation, where the plethora of new coaches didnt get a chance to coach their charges up. They are trying to make up for lost time. Maybe by midseason we will see their true coaching skills.

CJF looks like a different man than he did last year. And PSU just took Step 1 in living up to our preseason expectations.
