a story this morning..family buys a used ford EV for 17 year old..only had 60,000 miles, paid $11,000. Worked great for about 6 months, then started having problems. So to ford maintenance...need to replace the battery....cost $14,000. wait, that's more than they paid for the car....but, need a battery to run the car.
OOPs, car is out of production......batteries are no longer available.
