“Nine-year-old child genius to graduate university”

One of my good high school friends that I graduated with started working on his doctorate in physics at MIT when I was starting my junior (3rd) year at Penn State. He pretty much skipped two years of college at MIT.

But he was taking college calculus at a local college when I was in 9th grade, at the same time he was in my geometry class that year. Didn’t find out about the calculus course he took until after I graduated from High School. In high school calculus, my math teacher had to give him extra credit on every test because not only did he get all the answers correct, but he also proved the problems. He read math theory books like they were suspense novels back in high school, again something I found out about later as well. Definitely the smartest person I have ever met.
