Yup - given that politics is "Hollywood for ugly people" as the saying went on the Hill, it doesn't take much to shine.
I remember almost getting trampled to death when Morgan Fairchild came to the Hill to testify at a committee hearing. Congressmen, lobbyists, staff, and the political press are used to parades of nondescript white dudes roaming the halls, so when you get a hot babe that's a star, everyone goes berserk.
